Great work, as always! I am sure the role meaningful community engagement will be discussed. As the federal funding landscape changes, so will rewarding faculty. I believe valuing incentivizing, and rewarding meaningful community engagement can fulfill this need.
We will have a post focused on strategies for de-leveraging the dependence on federal funds. When we served in leadership, a lot of external stakeholders wanted to engage with the university, but the challenge is making that engagement pay.
